Freeze Warning and Winter Weather Advisory
A freeze warning and winter weather advisory have been issued for several north Georgia counties including Dawson, Lumpkin, Fannin, Towns and Union Counties. These counties will experience morning lows between 26-32 degrees as well as possible light snow/black ice accumulations.
According to experts, the ice accumulation could cause damage to early budding plants so it is highly recommended that these plants should be stored indoors. Morning lows are expected to be in the mid 30s with the wind chills below freezing at sunrise.
