Chicago Public Schools made an announcement to the public regarding the cancelled classes on Monday for its 400,000 students as the city prepares for bitterly cold temperatures due to extreme weather. Parents may also call the District’s Administrative Offices concerning school classes.
According to the National Weather Service in Romeoville, wind chills are expected to get as low as minus 40 degrees below zero this week that will affect the entire area of Chicago.
