Many areas in the United States and Canada are being subjected to record breaking cold weather, and some are claiming that it is proof that global warming is just a myth. Experts however are saying something different – cold weather is actually proof that the planet is getting warmer.

According to an article from science.time.com, “Unsurprisingly, the extreme cold has brought out the climate change skeptics, who point to the freeze and the recent snowstorms and say, essentially, ‘nyah-nyah.'”
