We all know that Asia is the largest continent in the world and is home to around 60% of the world’s total population. Aside from that, we also know that extreme weather changes are bringing negative impacts to different places in the world. If this continues to happen, Asian countries will experience problems in various areas – affecting society, health, security, and food.
Reports cited that extreme weather will continue to affect coastal communities with rising sea levels that can destroy infrastructures including homes and the peoples’ livelihood. Coral reefs will die because of warm temperatures, in turn killing fishes due to the lack of habitat.
Nations including India, Japan, and China are slowly but surely doubling their efforts to utilize renewable energy resources. This environmental change has brought significant improvements in decreasing harmful gas emissions.
Finding solutions to alleviate the extreme weather effects is essential in avoiding severe problems in the future.
