Science magazine is an otherwise respectable publication intended for scientific topics. But that has not prevented it from being wrong on certain stories. Michael E. Mann, a respected climatologist, has criticized the magazine for getting its extreme weather story wrong.

According to an article from thinkprogress.org, “The normally reliable Science magazine, however, seems to be stuck in the last decade. They have run a muddled piece on the subject.” This refers to the magazine’s view on extreme weather.
