Europe was recently battered by a very powerful storm. The storm brought gust that has a strength of up to 99 m.p.h. The storm surge had caused damages to affected countries – Britain, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

The bad news is that there is likely to be more such weather disturbances in the forthcoming months.

According to  Kharunya Paramaguru for science.time.com, “A new report on extreme-weather events by the Norwegian Meteorological Institute and the European national science academies suggests that some of the extreme weather phenomena associated with climate change are increasing in frequency and intensity within Europe.”
